Popup-blocker that installed in SP2 isn’t only protect your computer from marketing ads but also from Windows-Update. This bug is shown with error report ‘HTTP - Bug 500 - Internal Server Bug, 0×8dd0010′. It will appear once you click a hyperlink in Windows Update Website.

To avoid this bug, run Internet Explorer and choose ‘Tools|Internet Options|Privacy|Popup-Blocker Setting’. Type URL ‘http://vs.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/’ in text column then click ‘Add’. Then close setting window.
